The Eden Project
Located near St. Austell in Cornwall, The Eden Project nestles in the site of a disused China Clay pit. The main focus points of the site are two enormous Biomes (tropical and Mediterranean) which house a variety of plants and trees native to those climates. Each visit to Eden is different. Depending on the time of year, the exterior landscape changes significantly. Once entering the site, your first view is of the two Biomes and it is literally one of the most awe-inspiring sights. Photographically, Eden offers a multitude of opportunities. From the Biomes themselves to the planting, through to the various sculptures and set-scenes championing sustainability. We try to visit every couple of years and it never disappoints.
