You've probably worked out from the site logo that my name is John Beardon. I'm an IT Manager and have been in the IT industry for more years than I care to remember.
Photography is a hobby. Past-times have come and gone but since I first picked up a 35mm camera and eagerly anticipated receiving (the sometimes shocking) results, I was hooked. Photography is the only hobby that has stayed with me for my entire life. Sure, there have been periods where I lost my way but, there has always been a camera somewhere nearby, just waiting to be picked up and used.
Being 'in IT', I've had numerous web sites over the years, all built with the best intentions of keeping them up to date with new images and content. This site is relatively new and solely dedicated to my photography. It interfaces with my normal photographic workflow so takes the pain out of keeping things up to date.
I hope you enjoy at least some of my work, it's an eclectic mix so not everything will appeal to everyone. At the end of the day, my photography is personal, it's for me. So, whether it is liked or disliked, it matters little.
