Mousehole
Mousehole is a small and quaint Cornish village and fishing harbour situated a couple of miles from Penzance. It's a glorious place and just has one of those relaxing feels to it. You can sit for hours harbourside and just watch the world go by. The light here during the summer months is absolutely fantastic making the colours of the boats, paddle boards, buoys etc really 'pop'. We try and visit Mousehole for a morning or afternoon whenever we stay near the southern end of Cornwall. A tip to anyone wanting to visit: Approach Mousehole via Newlyn and leave your car in the first car-park on the left (just before The Old Coastguard Hotel). It's a short walk down to the village and harbour.
