Cornish Tin Mines

Alongside China Clay workings, nothing is more synonymous with the Cornish landscape than the remains of the tin mining industry. Engine and pump houses are located everywhere. Both inland and balancing precariously on steep cliff edges. They speak of a bygone age. Of work that was both hard and extremely dangerous. Their rugged yet functional form epitomise Cornish history and are a photographic delight.
