Carn Brea

Carn Brea is an imposing stone obelisk standing above Camborne in Cornwall. Built in 1836 in memory of Francis Bassett, Lord de Dunstaville, it's visible from most high ground in Cornwall. Both the North and South coasts are visible from it's location. Carn Brea Castle is also located nearby, which is now a restaurant. We've seen the tower from the A30 whenever travelling to Southern Cornwall, finally finding and visiting the site in 2015.
